About the Work Environment section
The Work Environment section of your profile is all about finding a space where you do your best work.
Location: This is where you would like to work. If you would like to work remotely, write your current location, rather than "Remote," here – remote work is covered under Office Type. There are legal and financial implications of remote work that an employer can't evaluate without knowing your location.
Company Size: Check the boxes for whichever size companies you'd like to work for.
Small: 1 - 100
Medium: 100 - 1,000
Large: 1,000 - 10,000
Very large: 10,000+
Office Type: In the age of remote and hybrid work, this is where you can specify your preferences. If you want to work remotely all the time, select the furthest option to the left; if you want to work in the office all the time, select the furthest option to the right.
Layout: This is the type of office space you are looking for. If you perform better in an open office environment, select an option on the left side of the scale; if you perform better in a closed off environment such as a cubicle or private office, select an option on the right side of the scale.
Activity Level: This covers how often you'd like to be up and about. If you'd prefer to be at your desk most of the day, select an option on the left side of the scale; if you'd like to spend most of the day on the move, select an option on the right side of the scale.
Noise Level: People work better with different amounts of background noise, and you can specify that here. Prefer peace and quiet? Select an option on the left side of the scale. Prefer some hustle and bustle around you? Select an option on the right side of the scale.
